As part of the Japan Foundations ongoing ‘Traveling Exhibition’ program to promote Japanese arts and culture to the world an exhibition called ‘Contemporary Wood-Carved Netsuke’ is currently on tour. This exhibition only includes Japanese netsuke artists and began in Vietnam in January 2018. At this stage is scheduled to visit the Philippines, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nepal, Mongolia and Russia.
